This policy describes what we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have. We take privacy seriously; adult content is a sensitive domain and warrants extra care.

Wantmi Operations is the bootstrap data controller for this service. Privacy and GDPR requests go to [email protected].
What we collect
- Account data: email, username, display name, password hash.
- For creators: legal name and photo identification, including age/date-of-birth information shown on that ID, stored privately for creator approval, age and identity recordkeeping, safety, and legal compliance.
- Content: videos you record, edit metadata, and passive sensor data when your browser provides it during recording.
- Engagement signals: which videos you view, how long, what you like or skip, used to tune the recommendation algorithm.
- Technical: IP address, user agent, device type, session cookie for authentication.
How we use it
- To provide, personalize, and improve the service.
- To enforce policies and detect abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Legal bases
- Contract: account access, creator tools, feed delivery, and support.
- Legitimate interests: safety, abuse prevention, security, and product analytics.
- Legal obligation: creator age/identity records, takedowns, and lawful requests.
- Consent: optional or future features where consent is explicitly requested.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not share your viewing history with third parties for advertising.
- We do not share creator identity documents with anyone except as required by law.
Data retention
Engagement events: retained in raw form for 90 days, then aggregated. Account data: retained for the life of your account. Identity verification documents: retained for the period required by applicable law, generally 7 years for 2257.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including in the EEA/UK, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or export your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. Email [email protected] to exercise these rights. Legal retention duties may limit deletion of creator verification, safety, fraud, or takedown records.
Cookies
We use first-party cookies that are necessary for authentication, guest-session continuity, admin security, and private-preview access when enabled. We also use first-party local storage or session storage for app preferences, install prompts, card dismissals, and admin CSRF state. We do not set third-party advertising or analytics cookies.
We collect first-party client telemetry for reliability and upload/playback diagnostics. It is used to operate and improve Wantmi, not to let third parties track your browsing across sites.
Children
Wantmi is for adults only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has an account, please report it immediately.
